The Duo
Uzmaan & Iyanthie have come a long way since they started at Ceylon Continental Hotel as amateur event and wedding planners. Moving on from there to the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, which matured their knowledge further not only on Events but also on Food & Beverage, Quality and Service Standards, are now known for their commitment and enthusiasm to make whatever event that comes their way a success, through their company Eventz N Trendz. They have planned the nuptials of Celebrities like Santhush Weeraman, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath, Nadini Premadasa, Farveez Maharoof & Lahiru Perera. They also planned & coordinated Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne's Son's Wedding. Their connections with the Hotels ensure they cut great deals for their clients.

Eventz N Trendz became the FIRST Sri Lankan wedding planner to be interviewed live on “BBC News”, on their wedding program “Extreme World”, two weeks before the ROYAL wedding.

Our Wedding Planning Packages include;

1.       Full Wedding Planning & Event Coordination Package

This package is for the Couple that wants guidance from start to finish. It covers all of the details that go into making a wedding truly memorable.

The full wedding planning package includes;
> Initial consultation with the bride and groom
> Planning meetings between clients and planner
> Help to prepare and understand a budget
> Prepare a schedule/timeline and checklists
> Assist with site tours, selection and booking of ceremony and reception venues
> Assist with selecting a color scheme, theme and style of the wedding
> Assist with selection of wedding attire and accessories, accompaniment to fittings if desired
> Help with finding, negotiating and booking suitable vendors. We will schedule appointments with each vendor category;

> Coordinate with vendors to ensure services/products are provided in a timely manner
> Ongoing updates and consultation with clients about vendor’s services/products
> Assist with the choosing of wedding give-a-ways (gifts)
> Assist with the table plan
> Ceremony planning
> Final walk-through with client at selected sites month of the wedding
> Final timelines prepared the month of the wedding
> Final consultation with vendors the month of the wedding
> Final meeting covering all details with client, the month of the wedding and the week prior to the wedding. This detailed planning meeting will include:

●  Preparation of rehearsal and wedding day itinerary as a timeline to be provided to client and vendors
● Collection and inventory of wedding items to be setup on wedding day, such as candles, photographs, guest books, wedding favors, toasting glasses, serving sets, programs, table numbers, etc.

(This package also includes all items provided in the Rehearsal and Wedding Day Coordination Package)

2.       Partial Wedding Planning & Event Coordination Package

This package is for the Couple who may have already completed part of their planning, but allows them a hands-on role in their planning with our professional assistance to guide them.

The partial wedding planning package includes;
> Initial consultation with the bride and groom
> Planning meetings between clients and vendors
>  Prepare a bride and groom timelines and checklists
> Email reminders of what needs to be taken care of closer to the date of the wedding
> Visits to site of both wedding and reception to go over setup
>  Assist with selecting a color scheme, theme and style of the wedding
> Provide a list of preferred vendors as needed;

●  Musicians (Band / DJ)
● Entertainment (Dance Troupes)
●  Photographer & Videographer
●  Dressmaker
●  Beautician
●  Invitation cards & Cake box supplier
●   Wedding cake supplier
●   Bridal car hire agency
>  Coordinate with vendors from the point of which the Couple have discussed, to ensure services/products are provided in a timely manner
>  Ongoing updates and consultation with clients about vendor’s services/products
>  Detailed planning meeting one month before the wedding which will include:
●   Ceremony planning
●   Preparation of rehearsal and wedding day itinerary as a timeline to be provided to client and vendors
●   Final walk-through with client at selected sites
●   Collection and inventory of wedding items to be setup on wedding day, such as candles, photographs, guest books, wedding favors, toasting glasses, serving sets, programs, table numbers, etc.

(This package also includes all items provided in the Rehearsal and Wedding Day Coordination Package)

3.       Rehearsal & Wedding Day Coordination Package (Rehearsals for Church Weddings only)

We handle every detail on that special day, so that the wedding party and family are relaxed and free to enjoy your biggest moment.

The rehearsal and wedding day planning package includes;

Rehearsal
●   Consultations with bride and groom on how they wish the wedding to flow
●    Preparation of a rehearsal and wedding day itinerary
●    Attendance and direction (coordinated with officiate) at the rehearsal
●    Final collection of wedding items at rehearsal to be set up on wedding day, such as candles, photographs, guest books, wedding favors, toasting glasses, serving sets, programs, table numbers etc.

Wedding Day
●    Check with vendors to confirm arrangements for the wedding day
●   Attend overseeing and directing the ceremony and reception
●   Receive deliveries and greet vendor
●    Make sure reception and ceremony areas are set up as you have planned
●    Make sure table numbers, place cards, programs, wedding favors are correctly placed
●    Get wedding party in place to walk down the aisle. Making sure timing is perfect, wedding dress trails/veil are straight, etc.
●   Help photographer get the pictures you want, making sure family members are available and in place for the photographer
●   Make sure reception area is set up as planned, candles lit, Band/DJ on schedule, etc.
●   Arrange grand entrance
●    Handle any problems that come up with caterer
●    Coordinate the collection of gifts received at the wedding to be delivered to pre-arranged spot
●    Provide a stress free day for the bride and groom
