I am a freelance photographer based in Battaramulla, Sri Lanka.  I specialize in wedding photography but practice other types of commercial photography with several Ad agencies and Fashion Houses.

I have gathered vast amount of experience in photography field since 1985 by working in many areas and disciplines such as a manual printer, machine printer, lighting grip, assistant cameraman and as a photographer. I also had good fortune of harnessing my skills and talents at The Gulf Colour Lab in UAE for 9 years. That’s where I was exposed to the world of Advertising photography.

Apart from being commissioned to photograph many weddings and functions every day including some high profile ones, I have been commissioned to work on several corporate profiles and ad campaigns since my return to Sri Lanka in 2000.

I have a photo journalistic approach to Wedding Photography since my main intention is to provide my client with artistically beautiful images for them to cherish for the rest of their lives of this very special day. I use the minimalist non obtrusive approach with my cameras and assistants when covering such occasion thus providing breathing space and maximum enjoyability to the couple and their guests.
